Triad Consulting Engineers, Inc., last week, was named the 11th largest electrical design engineering firm in the US. This is the 6th year in a row that Triad has made the Top 40 largest electrical design firms in the U.S.A. as compiled by EC&M Magazine. The Morris Plains based MEP consultant celebrated its 45th year in business this year providing services to Fortune 100 companies in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, data center and renewable energy sectors.


Always known for its combined heat and power (CHP) designs for oil and gas facilities, Triad now is providing that technology to Caribbean resorts as well as U.S.A. hospitals and pharmaceuticals. With new legislation and the abundance of natural gas, CHP is making huge headways into energy sector planning.


Triad continues to provide power engineering services to clients with projects in the 230kV range. Triad is presently working on the 230kV interconnect for a 100MW renewable energy project. Triad’s heavy electrical engineering expertise in system protection, specialized utility relaying, and power system studies, including arc flash mitigation, continues to bring new clients into the Triad fold.


While the Top 40 electrical design award is an outstanding achievement, today Triad was notified that they have again been named as one of the top 100 MEP engineering consultants in North America. The placement numbers will be released in mid-August by CSE Magazine. This will be the 10th year in a row that Triad Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been listed as a top MEP firm.
